The People’s Hearing – A Trip Highlighting Environmental Justice

On June 11th, NC C-CAPE attended the People’s Hearing in Greensboro, NC. This event consisted of narratives highlighting determination, hard work, bravery, and pioneering in the field of Environmental Justice.

What will forever stick with me and be poured into every project that I put my energy into is the concept of truth-telling, a storytelling method rooted only in testimony.

After attending and experiencing such an inspiring gathering, I learned that resilience is not a solution and one’s never too young to be loud.
